Pelvic Pain
                Women may feel a dull pain during their normal menstruation or could also happen during sex. Pelvic pain or lower abdominal pain can be a sign that there is a problem with the reproductive organs such as the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix or vagina. It could also be a symptom of infection, or a problem with the urinary tract, lower intestines, rectum, muscle or bone. 
                  Pelvic Pain is classified as acute (sudden) or chronic (over a period of time). 
                  Acute pain causes are 
                  
                    - Enodmetriosis - condition in which tissue from your uterine lining (endometrium) grows outside your uterus
 
                       
                    - Cystic Ovaries 
 
                       
                    - Infections - Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases PID
 
                       
                    - Ectopic Pregnancy - Pregnancy outside the uterus and normally in the fallopian tubes.
 
                       
                    - Non Gynaecological conditions include divertilitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome
 
                   
                  Chronic Pain causes 
                  Dysmenorrhoea or menstrual cramps is the common cause 
                    Fibroids or tumours in the pelvic cavity 
                  Treatment 
                  Usually depends on the cause and please contact your gynaecologist for a review.
